Her career started with a 9 to 5 corporate job, until she made a brave decision to pursue her passion in the wider nature of freelancing. She ended up setting up her own business, Kohi Social, an agency that aims to help brands and entrepreneurs “brew strategic and storified social media experience.”
Aside from managing an agency, she also started The Kohi Klubhouse group on Facebook, and is part of Educreators of TikTok where she can help and share learnings to aspiring Filipino freelancers on bigger platforms. Her Facebook group now has 22k members, 108k followers, and has garnered 1.1M likes on TikTok. On the side, she also holds free webinars and Digital Marketing short courses on how you can improve your social media presence.

Why should you automate your tasks [in business, or in general] in this digital age?
Time is one of your most valuable resources. And as you scale your business, there will be repetitive tasks that are all too time-consuming so you have to find a way to run them seamlessly in the background, so you can focus more on higher strategies to take your business further. Automating them is one.
When you automate, first, identify and list down said repetitive tasks, and then from there, either find a tool to automate it or delegate it. It's good there’s so many automation tools and apps available now that are more task-specific, making the lives of many entrepreneurs more convenient and productive.
As a Marketing Strategist and business owner, how would you encourage SMEs to utilize tools that can help them make their workflow more efficient?
Think of all the time and energy spent on repetitive tasks that should’ve been dedicated towards focusing on more engaging work, like business development, product development, and other CEO responsibilities.
Apart from providing convenience for the business, automation also gives us the opportunity to provide a great customer experience. Today’s customers value hassle-free transactions, specifically when ordering, so the use of automation tools actually allows for more customer satisfaction, and ultimately, more profit.
What would you say to someone who’s on the fence about trying ChatGenie?
As a business owner and marketing strategist, as much as possible, you’d want to give your customers a good experience when engaging with you. But as your business grows, so is the time you spend answering queries or taking in orders, and with so much on your plate, it’s not surprising if you commit errors or mistakes as you accomplish those tasks. You’re only human, after all.
