Welcome to the latest part of our Team Member Profile series, where we put the spotlight on the people behind ChatGenie. For this in, we’ll be focusing on Patricia Liwanag, our Customer Success Manager.
Follow this series to get to know everyone on the team, pick up pieces of advice on tech and business, and hopefully - be inspired!
Pat Liwanag’s passion for working in the tech industry led her to ChatGenie. After having a difficult few months due to the economic downturn, she truly felt difficulty finding the right job. Not willing to settle for any other job, she had a hard time, especially considering the Philippines still has a developing AI industry and the jobs offered can be limited. One day, Pat found ChatGenie on Kalibrr, the Filipino job search app. The day after her interview, she got hired and the rest is history.
Pat is in charge of all ChatGenie client accounts. She acts as the main point of contact in all matters relating to client concerns and needs. She helps them find solutions to any issues they may encounter, ensuring to maintain a positive relationship with them to achieve long-term partnerships. This was far from her college degree. A graduate of Secondary Education Major in English at De La Salle Lipa, Pat had never expected to be sucked into the world of AI and tech. But once she discovered her interest in the field of AI, there was no turning back. She promptly enrolled herself in a project management course at Shaw Academy and attended online training classes online including courses on LinkedIn Learning.
While she just started working at ChatGenie recently, she already had 5 years of experience in the AI field as a Conversation Designer for various startups. Similar to her current responsibilities, she was in charge of a lot more than tech. She spearheaded client concern management, handled client pitches, and even made sure to be on top of every detail to keep every client's online conversations as seamless as possible. Like many of our team members, she’s used to wearing multiple hats: an essential to working in any startup or small business.
